Batteries are housed in steel enclosure for tough oilfield applications. All pipeline pig transmitter models can operate with lithium batteries but must be specified before ordering with AAA, C and D cell models. AA models can use new 1.5 lithium AA batteries. Electronics is protected by encapsulation to make this pig transmitter one of most reliable and durable on the market. Batteries are quickly inserted. All models are polarity protected and create a standard 22 Hz signal. Coded transmitters also use additional frequencies.
