Stanger Surveying Company has performed many control surveys in our work area to provide a framework for aerial mapping control. Aerial photogrammertry is controlled by a horizontal and vertical control network surveyed on the ground at required locations in and around the project area. The control network will consist of a primary and secondary control network. The primary control network will consist of permanent control points set in concrete with an aluminum cap identifying the monument number along with a center point. Each mark will have an azimuth reference mark set in a similar manner. The secondary control network will consist of control panels necessary to properly control the aerial photography and they will consist of material sufficient to be visible at the photonegative scale.
