LOGIC was created in 1999 by the governments Oil & Gas Industry Task Force now PILOT to stimulate supply chain collaboration and improve the competitiveness of the UK Continental Shelf.LOGIC is a notforprofit, whollyowned subsidiary of Oil & Gas UK, that operates a number of crossindustry projects on behalf of the industry. Its board of directors includes operator and contractor representatives that connect into the user communities of these projects.LOGIC is the custodian for crossindustry projects and works to preserve their unfettered availability and to promote and develop their use in improving industry practices within the UKCS oil and gas sector.
